"I believe that there is one story in the world, and only one… .
Humans are caught—in their lives, in their thoughts, in their hungers and ambitions,
in their avarice and cruelty, and in their kindness and generosity too
in a net of good and evil… . There is no other story.
A man, after he has brushed off the dust and chips of his life,
will have left only the hard, clean questions:
Was it good or was it evil? Have I done well—or ill?"
will
there will come a time, a day, a moment when words
are not enough. when the letters hooking to other
letters and tying themselves to each other,
the trains of vowels and consonants chasing each other
out of my mouth just won’t do justice to the avalanche
that you’re struggling through.
are not enough. when the letters hooking to other
letters and tying themselves to each other,
the trains of vowels and consonants chasing each other
out of my mouth just won’t do justice to the avalanche
that you’re struggling through.
if this is…

"i will remember your small room
the feel of you
the light in the window
your records
your books
our morning coffee
our noons our nights
our bodies spilled together
sleeping
the tiny flowing currents
immediate and forever
your leg my leg
your arm my arm
your smile and the warmth
of you
who made me laugh
be in the now
We all have the potential to fall in love a thousand times in our lifetime.
They all count. But there are certain people you love who do something else;
they define how you classify what love is supposed to feel like.
These are the most important people in your life,
and you’ll meet maybe four or five of these people over the span of 80 years.
But there’s still one more tier to all this;
there is always one person you love who becomes that definition.
It usually happens retrospectively, but it always happens eventually.
This is the person who unknowingly sets the template for what you will always love about other people, even if some of those lovable qualities are self-destructive and unreasonable.
You will remember having conversations with this person that never actually happened.
You will recall sexual trysts with this person that never technically occurred.
This is because the individual who embodies
your personal definition of love does not really exist.
The person is real, and the feelings are real-but you create the context.
And context is everything.
The person who defines your understanding of love is not inherently different than anyone else, and they’re often just the person you happen to meet first time you really,
really want to love someone.
But that person still wins.
They win, and you lose.
Because for the rest of your life, they will control how you feel about everyone else.

still learning
i've learned that good-byes will always hurt,
pictures will never replace having been there,
memories good and bad will bring tears,
and words never replace feelings
"We do not believe in ourselves until someone reveals that deep inside us
something is valuable, worth listening to, worthy of our trust, sacred to our touch.
Once we believe in ourselves we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight
or any experience that reveals the human spirit."
E. E. Cummings

"It’s funny. When you leave your home and wander really far, you always think,
‘I want to go home.’
But then you come home, and of course it’s not the same.
You can’t live with it, you can’t live away from it.
And it seems like from then on there’s always this yearning for some place that doesn’t exist.
I felt that. Still do.
I’m never completely at home anywhere."
LEFT BRAIN- I am the left brain
I am a scientist. A mathematician.
I love the familiar, I categorize. I am accurate. Linear.
Analytical. Strategic. I am practical.
Always in control. A master of words and lenguage.
Realistic. I calculate ecuations and play with numbers.
I am order. I am logic.
I know exactly who I am.
RIGHT BRAIN- I am the right brain.
I am creativity, a free spirit. I am passion.
Yearning . Sensuality. I am the sound of the roaring laughter .
I am taste. The feeling of sand beneath bare feet.
I am movement. Vivid colors,
I am the urge to paint on an empty canvas,
I am boundless imagination. Art. Poetry. I sense. I feel.
I am everything I wanted to be.

"Take wrong turns. Talk to strangers. Open unmarked doors.
And if you see a group of people in a field, go find out what they are doing.
Do things without always knowing how they’ll turn out.
You’re curious and smart and bored, and all you see is the choice between working hard
and slacking off.
There are so many adventures that you miss because you’re waiting to think of a plan.
To find them, look for tiny interesting choices.
And remember that you are always making up the future as you go."
