It’s surprising how many persons go through life without ever recognizing that their feelings toward other people are largely determined by their feelings toward themselves,
and if you’re not comfortable within yourself, you can’t be comfortable with others.

THAT IS WHY LOVE AND BEAUTY…

When you look upon another human being and feel great love toward them,
or when you contemplate beauty in nature and something within you responds deeply to it, close your eyes for a moment and feel the essence of that love or that beauty within you, inseparable from who you are, your true nature.
The outer form is a temporary reflection of what you are within, in your essence.
That is why love and beauty can never leave you, although all outer forms will.

Spring Art Salon, Van Gogh Grand Cafe

Mai multe detalii in pagina evenimentului - Spring Art Salon- 3 zile de arta activa in centrul Bucurestiului

In circuitul Spring Art Salon: Van Gogh Grand Cafe, Hotel Tempo, Hotel Trianon, BRUNO, Galeria Horatiu Malaele

Intalnire cu artistii:

Vineri, Hotel Tempo, ora 19.30
Sambata: Van Gogh Grand Cafe & Bruno, ora 19.00
Duminica: Hotel Trianon, ora 17.00

Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind,
flight to the imagination, a charm to sadness, gaiety and life to everything.
It is the essence of order and lends to all that is good and just and beautiful.

Every one of us is losing something precious to us.
Lost opportunities, lost possibilities, feelings we can never get back again.
That’s what part of it means to be alive. But inside our heads
— at least that’s where I imagine it —
there’s a little room where we store those memories.
A room like the stacks in this library.
And to understand the workings of our own heart
we have to keep on making new reference cards.
We have to dust things off every once in a while, let fresh air in,
change the water in the flower vases.
In other words, you’ll live for ever in your own private library.

Room with a view.
my studio, work in progress...

Water does not resist. Water flows.

When you plunge your hand into it, all you feel is a caress.

Water is not a solid wall, it will not stop you.

But water always goes where it wants to go, and nothing in the end can stand against it. Water is patient. Dripping water wears away a stone.

Remember that, my child. Remember you are half water.

If you can’t go through an obstacle, go around it.

Water does.

When you make that bold declaration and begin moving in the direction of your highest becoming, you will be faced with your Dark Side.

In the end, only three things matter:
how much you loved, how gently you lived,
and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you.

Stiu ca are toate calitatile de a supravietui societatii noastre, si toate caracteristicile unui tanar baiat in devenire. Imi pun intrebarea cum sa-i hranesc si sa-i educ sensibilitatea, cum s-o constientizeze mai bine si s-o vada cu ochii mintii in ceilalti oameni, in natura feminina fireasca a femeilor.

There’s a bluebird in my heart that wants to get out
but I’m too tough for him,
I say, stay in there, I’m not going to let anybody see you.

Unease, anxiety, tension, stress, worry—all forms of fear—
are caused by too much future, and not enough presence.
Guilt, regret, resentment, grievances, sadness, bitterness, and all forms of non-forgiveness are caused by too much past, and not enough presence.

Art is confession; art is the secret told…But art is not only the desire to tell one’s secret;

it is the desire to tell it and hide it at the same time.

And the secret is nothing more than the whole drama of the inner life.

spring is in the colors

We can’t find our path without getting messy.
Messy comes with the territory. We came in messy. We learn messy.
We love messy. We grow messy.
I never found my way to clarity without first befriending confusion,
in all its chaotic forms. I never found a path that felt like home before falling into quick-sand.
I never established a new way of being without trying the wrong way of being on for size.
I never found the light without stumbling around in the dark.
Not that all messiness is good messiness, but some of it is.
In the heart of the chaos, is the clay that shapes us home. Chaotic Magnificence!
