Saturday...

The goodness in your life does not come to you from someone else. When you see

this, you will be free. There is no reason and no need to "play up" to another,

or to try to remain in their good graces. Remain in your own, by not betraying

yourself. Simply speak your truth, with gentleness and love. And have courage, for

what you seek is not outside of you. It is not a gift from another person. It is yours --

to give, not to acquire. Let no one, therefore, hold you hostage. Not your partner, not

your boss, not your family...and certainly not your God.

Monday morning

The thing that is really hard, and really amazing, is giving up on being perfect and

beginning the work of becoming yourself.

You want something. Go get it. Period.

‎"Hey. Don't ever let somebody tell you... You can't do something. Not even me. All right? ...

You got a dream... You gotta protect it. People can't do somethin' themselves, they

wanna tell you you can't do it. If you want somethin', go get it. Period."

today...

Suffering, once accepted, loses its edge, for the terror of it lessens, and what remains

is generally far more manageable than we had imagined.

Fiber Fusion Festival, Canada

Finally, the Mural is alive! Honored to be among the 26 international artists that

contributed to this art project "FIBER FUSION", White Rock city, Canada.

My work is on the right side up, the tree branches with the bird.

The story behind my work is about connecting to nature.I have used cotton fibers

from my kids clothes and felt from their toys as well.

It was a team project in the sense that my kids really wanted me to incorporate not

only the physical material but their ideas of how nature looks from their perspective-

how we perceive it- it's all about nature through a child's eyes.
